The Shape of Things to Come !

          The Red River Sculpture Society, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation, originally in Shreveport, is now headquartered in Little Rock and features Arkansas Sculptors. 
          The Society was organized by Michael Don Fess and six others in 1994 and Michael has been our only Chairman since the inception.

RRSS Members Selected For International Show

     Two RRSS members, Michael Don Fess and Roauf Halaby have been invited to join the 6th Sculptors Invitational Spring Show in San Antonio, Texas.

     The show, sponsored by Sculptors Dominion, is showcased on a six acre estate, landscaped with gardens featuring large Oak trees, and is available for public viewing for the entire year.
     Over 60 professional sculptors from several states and countries will be represented in this huge outdoor show of over 150 large creations designed for public spaces..
     The opening reception will take place on Saturday, April 5th, 2008 and is part of San Antonio's Fiesta, the 3rd largest city festival in the U.S. with over 3 million people attending 100 citywide events.

2008 Show is Big Success !

      Three members of the Red River Sculpture Society participated in the 2008 Arkansas Flower and Garden Show at the Statehouse Convention Center.  Members report that sales of garden sculpture should exceed $10,000.
